+ArmoKidd+ said: hah if you have seen mlb, nfl, nhl replays, its not few seconds. It takes a couple of minutes. they have to look at every single possible angle before they make the call. And after that. of they cant figure it out, they take few mins to talk over and stick to the original call. It pains me to say, but Armo is right with certain aspects of what he said. They have limited it to 2:00 mins in the NFL. MLB does it for homeruns and NHL does it on goals. I know way too much about sports here in the States. It doesnt take seconds, but it does help get the calls right. Pretty sure we all agree that replay needs to be implemented. ![]() Edited by Johnny Blaze 29-10-2012 23:54 |

In the football games I watch, replays come up almost immediately. An imaginary line on the pitch can easily tell an offside without having to look at all angles. Dives and bad tackles can be looked into after the games as mentioned earlier. Edited by @FC Ubuntu 29-10-2012 23:51 |

you have to choose. small delays during the game (for game changing decisions only) or the cheating & corruption that goes with it will just increase as the money floods in. for me the tipping point came and went years ago. i enjoy a good fa cup tie far more than any champions league or prem match. |

they could do the same for nhl, have an imaginary line if it went it or not, but its not as easy as you make it sound. | 29/10/2012 23:56 |

The video ref may not find it easy in very close calls (allowing the ref to decide) but it will at least eliminate those cases that are blatant. |

I think the one thing we all agree on is that some form of video tech should be implemented. Start with something easy, like goal line tech, and expand from there. The referral panel is another easy thing to setup to review cheating and poor challenges. Then trial hawkeye for offsides. Maybe introduce a manager challenge system like the NFL. At least try something........ |
