This tactic should be punished, because in the rules of football the pass defender to hand of GK is FOUL, and in this simulation is a bug dont mark the foul.

rules 2
2) It is forbidden to take advantage of some fault of the game. If a manager discovers an error or bug in the system, he or she is required to immediately inform an administrator, fiscal, or moderator through in-game messaging or via e-mail to info@strikermanager.com. It is prohibited to use automated scripts (programs) to collect information and/or interact with the Website and its services.

sorry but all people know that one player dont pass the ball to hand of GK.

I agree abusive tactics should be punished, like Italian world cup matches. But they won't be. All you can do is sound like the chosen one talking about West Ham ancient, anti-competitive tactics...

But these tactics can be beaten.

There is no foolproof mechanism for winning.

for me letting this happens pretty much scare me with the futur of this game, because if this start to be used by everyone, I am sure we will have another wave of manager leaving the game..

Based on one game everyone wants the manager to be fined.

For once sit back and think that it can be a bug like the endless throw in loop bug we had in the past.

The formation is not the problem but the time wasted by that loop is. The problem may just disappear on its own.

If it happens again then we can raise the issue with the developers and try to find a solution for it.

There is no rule that says you cannot use XYZ formation. If you want put all 11 players in and around the Gk if you like. I have seen managers player 10 forwards or 8 mids and 2 defenders.

That is a rule in football, however it is not a rule in this game, as in you've never seen a backpass penalty given. That rule would come into effect if someone was able to figure out how to not get offside penalties or something like that, where the thing they're doing is an established game rule.

I agree this tactic is extremely boring and negative, however I do think it's beatable if you figure out the pattern the guy uses. I also don't know if enough users would want to use such negative tactics that it'd become a problem.

This is not only one game. Check for example Undertaker's game from Feb 2nd. The same behavior there. (Did not check more games).

The tactics is clearly intentional. As soon as he leads by one goal, he switches to this "delay of game" tactics. When the score get equalized, he turns back to normal tactics.

The bug itself is a loop (GK vs def) for defending team and senseless passing for attacking team making attackers unable to attack. The only way out from the loop is out, offside or goal kick, when formations of both teams reset to the initial ones. As soon as game is resumed, defending players start running back to goal zone raising probability of loops to re-appear.

It is ok to use whichever tactics, but if it leads to simulator instability this has to be stopped clearly. Not speaking about what a precedence it may become.

Of course if it works, he wont stop..
The problem is not if it's beatable or not it s how long it takes to beat it because while your player lose stamina, his not at all and can rest at 0 effort

maybe it's just me but i realized the SIM had some changes lately....i noticed that forward players tend to pass the ball back at midfielder/defender very frequent now, especially when there are many opponent players in front of him....i know i'm new in this game, but i never have seen this kind of behavior before....before this, i always see my forward dribble the ball straight away (whenever he has the ball) and only do back pass once in a while...

so the "tontino" tactic used by the above team is the result of this behavior...the manager might not created it intentionally....everything will go normal if his forward just dribble the ball away without have to do back pass....

*just my opinion*
