Should certain tactics, such as these, be susceptible to punishment as per the exploitation of game bugs rule?

Interesting topic... I also got beat by this tactic, compounded by having my best attacker injured and replaced by a CDF who could only strike the ball a meter (another sim bug). I might have a record for number of useless passes!http://en.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=14728390 It's annoying, but I can't see any justification for punishment as its all within the rules. Not that different to the extreme offside traps that plague the lower divisions. Credit to the manager for finding the exploit IMO. However the sim should be fixed so its not effective. But I don't hold out much hope on that... Maybe a low tech solution would be to limit player placement in advanced formations? Say forwards must stay in last 2/3rds of the pitch? We already have limits on number defenders, mids etc in the lineup. This seems like a case of advanced formations providing a loophole to this rule. |

Its an exploitation of a game bug..fact. The devs arn't gonna fix it or penalise it in this version of SM...fact. Therefore this version of SM is dead, coz the minority of jokers in this game like that are free to ruin it for the majority of decent thinking players who enjoy this game.
