i would expect many more resets in alpha and maybe 1 once beta starts but they will need to beta test several consequative seasons in beta so i dought they will reset once beta starts - its just a process we gotta get through

Devs won't do anything to punish this formation because it's legal and isn't unbeatable.
There are more formations whose take advantage of bugs and it's nearly impossible to avoid it because this sim has a lot

I think there are ways to beat this formation, and this formation relies on you being able to take a 1-2 goal lead anyways, so you have to be a little better than your opponent at least.

I don't think spreading the problem is the solution since I'm 99% certain devs won't bother with this. Figuring out the formation that totally breaks this formation is probably the solution. If everyone has it in their arsenal then, people will realize that it might not be a valid formation to pull out on a regular basis.
