I attest to this. Scrap loans. A very good points from Brezz.. but will be decent if it'll be only seniors leaving only the juniors(Loan deals ). brezzette said: Few points on removing loans A lot of teams dont train loans and damage the other team even getting GK,DFM+CF Market will go up again coz number of ~95avg players will drop a lot Its not fair to face team with those CFs on loan with funny salary Many teams loan their best players to team that is not interested in playing this game he just train their players to maximum(like that case with CFs with huge XP) Teams that took loans are all dead in long term, taking loan its the worst thing you can do in this game If you take 3 loans per season and dont loan out you lose ~1B its ~150M+ per player profit if you have your own 90+prog players to train,so not taking loans and train your own players will give you ~450M per season + if you loan 3 out thats another 450M so close to 1B per season It will be easier for @s |

@vgates said: It is absolutely possible to promote without loans. And I did so against teams that had loaned in players. In the long run, as brezz will tell you, loans benefit the loaning manager far more than the loanee. Not only is it possible to promote without loans -- not taking loans is the only way to long-term get the rating level needed to win, even if you have a good formation&tactic combination for your roster. I think your starting slots are in some sense your true "resources" for the game.. selling players is the thing that gains you money. You use that money to crank your tech levels [stadium, coach%] and to get better raw materials [players w high prog/FC]. Your resources are your starting+reserve slots. If you take in and start loaned players, you're giving away that valuable resource [you only have 5 starting slots, or 6 if midfield] to a player who's already higher than you!! That player is owned by someone else.. so he's going to eventually sell and get significant $$ for it - or have a 96/23 CF with good EXP/skills to start in place of what used to be his back-of-the-pack 85 CF, for example. But all of those trainings could have gone to a player owned by you.. and therefore benefiting only you in the long term. The dollars from a home game in a higher group are not the big prize - although it's interesting, but not substantial. Unless your roster is good enough to compete at that higher level, you'll get monkeystomped and fall back to where your roster strength puts you. Plus... Taking in loans is like a heroin addiction rather than a long-term growth strategy. What if you do get promoted? Now you really have to keep taking in loans, because you promoted yourself far beyond what your roster can actually accomplish, so you need to keep taking whatever the loan-forward market has to offer! This leaves you with a pack of 94+ forwards but defenders who barely crack 85, and absolutely zero prospect of ever getting any better.. because the things you have to sell to the market for youth won't get you very good raw materials, because all your resources are devoted to keeping the forward loanees happy! It takes a few cycles of sell players -> increase your own tech levels -> get better raw materials -> sell players until you actually start to create youth with ratings high enough to enable you to promote. When you can sell off your 85 senior player for a 90-rated youth you purchased a calendar year ago, that's when you really start to be able to earn in this game, because you're making multiple-season plans regarding your roster, not just "How do I hang on with my fingernails to this group." It's interesting that people still attempt a loan strategy, because the delta in stadium revenue from group to group really isn't a viable exchange for the lack of a youth -> senior pipeline that is the direct result of that strategy. Well said buckeye,it all about how good your long term plan is. If its good you will play in div.1 if not ~div/3. I advise few teams who have passion for this game to sell off and do same thing i did with buying 90+prog forwards 15yo they are cheap. In 4-5 seasons they will have same team as mine now only 1 year older players. At 22yo they will keep their main 5 players(LFx2 + CF + RFx2) all maxed with tons of skills and sell other leftovers to get other positions. This way you get 95+avg team loaded with skills coz you will promote them at 16yo. This can be done with 1-2B after sell off. I advise this coz their peak will be~90avg team, better cut and sell off and get 95+avg team in same time as that ~90avg team that will be stuck in div.3-4... You cant force any team to do something but i think they will learn the hard way. |

Darra said: because i cant watch my team raped by a team this is EXACTLY the point. Mods may find it fun to read what I used to say here.. but the bottom line is that you'll learn eventually. Not only will you get monkeystomped in cup, you'll spend a couple seasons yo-yoing between 3 and 4 at best. Brezzette.. I have attempted the ghetto version of your strategy - get guys 85-90 prog because all the 90+ guys get hoovered up by you folk with billions free cash! I have a couple of future all-pros [GB search plus lucky random guessing of who to hostile!] but not many. Edited by Buckeye623 12-02-2016 00:24 |

Oyewale said: So, what's our final decision on this? I mean there is none. Developers don't care about this server, and haven't for at least a year. They will keep doing the bare minimum on it but that's about it. We can suggest any number of things on here for ever, they're never going to care. The current reality we have is what we'll probably have till the server dies. |
