'Managers are not selling because of low prices....' 'Reduce training in order to reduce high avg players in order to increase prices....' All these comments assume that the market deflation is solely the result of supply and demand. Perhaps some of the problem comes from managers just being able to afford the prices very experience managers in the game want others to pay. Call it SM's version of income inequality. The income in this game is not unlike the pyramid structure of the Divisions. Those at the very top need people slightly under them to buy their very expensive players, and so on and so on and so on all the way down to the new manager in Div 6/7. What happens when there is a reduction in active managers in the middle? A bubble comes through. There is less money in the game. Less money in the game means you will not get those prices for your players you are used to. You want to reduce supply? Ok. Well, where are those lower division managers ever going to get the money to buy your players? I have been here since the last third of season 10. Train and sell players you say. Ok. But you want to cut supply of those players. You want to reduce the ability of those managers to train and sell. Lower average players means less money. Same problem, folks. Not enough money to purchase your expensive players. The answer isn't supply and demand of players but supply of managers. You need more managers. More people spending money. The efforts to reduce money in the game where to reduce the number of managers with multiple billions of dollars. But I don't think that has happened to great effect. I think that the dev's did exactly what the Spanish people complained about - they instituted austerity measures that hurt the lower division managers more than the higher division managers instead of using some supply side monetary policies. That the dev's are based in Barcelona and did to SM exactly what the people of Spain complained about the Spanish government doing is ironic to say the least. We need more active managers. Period. But we're losing managers. Why do managers quit? Maybe 12 - 18 seasons of never having enough money to afford players with high enough averages to stay in Div 2 or get to Div 1? [It isn't all about formation or attributes - overall player average has a big impact too] Or just maybe the market is returning to a state of equilibirum. Meaning those 90+ players were always absurdly overpriced to begin with.... |

Good points vgates. What if we can sell our players for minimum price alowed for auction and that player will be out of the game. Dont know if i was clear enough,ex. i have CF ~93avg and minimum auction price is 700M and i sell him for that price to the game. So money and player are out of the game, this will reduce 90+ avg players a lot and teams will get some $. Tired to think what will happen with this,a lot of great minds can help here. |

I think a change to injuries could have a impact on the market... Can't rember the last time I had a player injured for more than a few days, if injuries where a bit more unpredictable like the occasional half season/season over/career over injuries would force people into competition over available players. Occasional bargain would still be available people willing to have players in squad while recovering from long term injury. Without messing messing around with FC/PR/economics of the game making it perpetually harder for newcomers in the game to improve... |

That's an interesting idea brezz. There was some limit of high average players when the dev's made no team players of high average ineligible for sale at the start of the season or for an excessive amount. Some slip through because of low morale but I saw an 85 DFM no team - system had his starting price near $600m, which is so high compared to the market that no one will buy him. |

Yeah, devs can reduce that minumum by 30-50%. Point is manager will get market value sale and player will be out of the game. This sales should be ~20% less than market price,if fiscals price my CF at 1B and i cant sale on market i can sell for ~800M to the game. Edited by brezzette 24-03-2016 01:47 |

A big +1 to brezz's interesting idea. If applied, it would help to stop players deflation... | 24/03/2016 07:33 |

Similar transfers thingy needs to be improved. My suggestion is that it conatains only direct purchase transfers, that it includes more details, such as forecast and progress and that there is minimal deviation alowed when seting up a new transfer. What happenes is that one lucky auction drops down the price of a player because anyone looking at the similar transfers page sees that transfer and thinks to him self, hey if Im patient I'll buy at a lucky auction. Flooding the market by menagers that are quiting is also something that needs to be looked at. When you unload a whole team of good players (and sometimes it happened in ridiculous times of the day when not everyone will bid i.e. 2am), and those players are later on refernced in the similar transfers for price check, you are droping down the value of players. So my suggestions: 1. You can not sell more than X numbers of players at one time (3 players in each squad) 2. SImilar transfers page has more details about forecast and progress and only contains direct purchases 3. Price checks have 0-2% deviation from the medium price of similar transfers. 4. Recent transfers page where all users can see all players sold in last 72 hours with bomb in the end 5. Punishment for both buyer and seller when price is inapropreate. Oh and also, it would be great if the game stoped producing players below 70 progres.....no one is buying them. They only contribute on making the market more iratic and non tranparent |
